How Big is Your Belly?

Have guests slice off a piece of string or yarn that is about the length they think the pregnant woman�s belly is around. She will then wrap each string around her stomach, one at a time, to discover which piece is the closest. Whoever has the closest measurement wins a prize.

Guess the Baby

Have guests bring baby pictures of themselves in advance. All guests will have to match the baby picture with the other guests. Whoever guesses the most right, wins a prize.

Birthing Babies

Freeze tiny plastic babies, or something similar, in ice cube trays. Place one in each of the guests� drinks. The 1st person whose plastic baby breaks out of the ice and floats to the top of the glass, gets a prize. The winner must yell, �My water broke!�

Don�t Say �Cute�

Attach a bunch of little safety pins to one big safety pin (you can have the large safety pin be a name tag if everyone is not already acquainted). Have the guests attach the large safety pin to their shirt and tell them the material handling software word, i.e. �cute� or �pregnant� or anything else you might like. If anyone hears another guest say the forbidden word, she gets to steal one of her safety pins. A prize is given to the guest with the most safety pins when the shower ends.

Messy Diapers

Buy some candy bars and melt them into some disposable diapers. Use some candy bars that are less common to mix it up. Label the diapers and have the conveyor handling guess which candy bar they think is in the diaper. Allow them to use all their senses (including taste) to determine which candy bar it is. Whoever gets the most diapers correct, wins a prize. Remember your camera!

Footprint and Handprint Advice

Cut out footprints and handprints and have guests write down advice or helpful hints on them. Place them inside a little book for the mom-to-be.

Stork Bingo

Hand out a blank bingo card to all the guests. Have the guests fill in what they think the mom-to-be will get for a present. While she is opening her presents, guests scratch off that item from their bingo card. The guest who gets the 1st bingo, wins.

Word Scramble

Scramble a list of baby words. Whoever gets the most scrambled words right, gets a prize. You can set a time limit to make things more interesting.

Nursery Rhyme Lines

Write down one line from a nursery rhyme. Ask all the guests to guess which nursery rhyme the line is from. The person who gets the most right wins a prize.

Baby Food Mix-Up

Take off the labels of various baby food jars and put numbers on the jars. Have the guests guess the type of baby food by looking at the jar without opening it. A prize is given to the guest who guesses the most correctly.
